How to set up and run a Double elimination tournament.

First sign into Td

Click on create tournament.

Select Bracket Style (Double-Elm) and click Submit.

The red box is today. Click on it ot the date you want to run your tournament.

Select the time your tounament will start. (keep in mind that cases time may be different from yours.)

Anything i didnt mark stays the way it is. On the cost you can only select the one that applies to your td status.

In the blue click on OPEN CHECKIN.

Now on your tourney administer page you can click the refresh button on your browser bar to see your jumpers. It takes atleast 4 jumpers to run the tourney. Once you have enough click close in the blue box then return to administer tourney. THIS is where you will notice the difference between single elm and double.


Notice the Report match and Adjust match?
Well its really easy. When you click on Report match
it takes you to run the tournament. Clicking on Adjust match lets you edit if you make a mistake.

Click on Report match.

And you will now see this page. Notice that only the players in a match are shown? All not listed have a bye.
As the matches report you click on the little white circle beside the winners name and then click report loss.
And then return to administer tournament and again on Report Match.

OK now after a few matches report you will see the lower bracket appear.
These are the players that have lost a match. Once they lose in the lower bracket they are out of the tourney.

Just keep reporting unlit you get to the final 2 players.
Keep in mind that the one in the upper bracket has not lost a match yet
so the player in the bottom bracket will have to beat the one in the top bracket
twice to win the tournament

A MISTAKE AND REPORTED WRONG

No big deal it can be fixed as long as the tournament hasnt closed.

From the tournament administer paghe click ADJUST MACTCH.



See The white dot next to some of the id's?
Those are the ones you reported as lost.
If they won you click on the white dot and then Adjust Match.
Keep in mind matched played after may have to be replayed.
